Why is everyone suddenly talking about protein?
Searches for high protein have more than doubled in the past 5 years – why now?

When I’m cooking for my family, I try to prioritise whole foods that are packed full of goodness and keep us fuelled for longer.
That’s what my recipe collection, Joe Wicks’ Meal Picks, with Asda is all about – simple, healthy dinners that taste banging.
Our new recipes for you to try this June both use wholegrains to help sneak in some extra goodness. And Asda’s got your back when it comes to keeping the cost down by putting the core ingredient from each recipe (king prawns and cherry tomatoes) on Rollback this month.
First up is my recipe for King Prawn, Corn & Egg-Fried Rice, a super-simple stir-fry using wholegrain rice with bags of flavour that the whole family will enjoy. Ready in less than 15 minutes, this is a real lifesaver on those busy weeknights!
Next try the Roasted Cherry Tomato & Pesto Pasta – my kids love the tomatoey-pesto pasta mash-up. No chopping needed for this one, just bang all the pasta sauce ingredients into a roasting tin, roast, and toss through wholewheat spaghetti. Easy!
Don’t forget to check out my other Joe Wicks’ Meal Picks recipes for more inspiration.
Love,
