Chocolate and Almond Overnight Oats


Serves 1

  • 140ml skimmed milk
  • 20g almond butter
  • 10g protein powder, chocolate or vanilla
  • 1½ tsp cocoa powder
  • 20g rolled oats
  • 20g ground flaxseed
  • 50g yoghurt, such as Greek, natural, soya
  • 10g almonds, sliced


Pour the milk into a bowl, add the almond butter, protein powder and cocoa powder and whisk until smooth; if your almond butter is a bit on the thick side you might need to use a stick blender here. Stir in the oats and flaxseed, cover and chill overnight.

The next morning stir in the yoghurt and serve topped with the sliced almonds.

  • Good for batch cooking


  • If you want to make a batch of this it'll keep for up to 3 days in the fridge.
